Isando
Isando is a thriving industrial area situated not far from OR Tambo international airport, in Kempton park. This area is filled with a wide diversity of businesses focussed on manufacturing and logistics.
The Isando Energy Users Group are interested in preserving electricity supply to the area and to look at ways to reduce electricity load as and when needed to support the call from Eskom to reduce the effect of loadshedding.
A committee has been established, with members, and is developing the structures and mechanisms for industry in Isando to effectively address the electricity challenges and ensure ongoing supply.
Aim: To maintain uninterrupted electricity supply in the Isando Industrial Area.
